1 Day In Afghanistan (Extreme Travel Afghanistan)

We visited internally displaced families in Mazar-i-Sharif who had fled war in Faryab province and were struggling with poverty, inadequate shelter, food shortages, and the approaching winter. We also visited a UNICEF-supported health center providing care to malnourished children, pregnant women, and mothers, while traveling with an armed police escort. Finally, we explored a modern shopping mall and a lavish wedding hall, seeing the sharp contrast between extreme hardship and celebrations in Afghanistan.
