$10 Challenge in Dominican Republic

We explore Santo Domingo and learn about the Dominican Republic’s history, culture, people, and way of life. We spend less than $10 on coffee, a traditional sandwich, frío frío, a flag, an empanada, public transportation, and a cup of Mama Juana while visiting markets, the metro, a cable car, and the colonial city. We finish the day having spent just $7.37 and reflect on how far $10 can go in the country.
