$100 vs $1,000 Day in Hong Kong

We fly business class to Hong Kong, where we spend 48 hours comparing a $100-a-day budget with a $1,000-a-day splurge. On the budget day, we stay in a tiny hostel, hike Lion’s Rock, eat at one of the world’s cheapest Michelin-starred restaurants, cross the harbor by ferry, and finally ride the Ferris wheel. On the splurge day, we stay at the Ritz-Carlton, enjoy its pool and a reflexology treatment, and have dinner at a modern Chinese vegetarian restaurant before continuing to Beijing.
