14 Days on a Cargo Ship During the Pandemic

We left Sokotra after spending 80 days there during the pandemic and boarded a cargo ship bound for Abu Dhabi because travel options were severely restricted. We crossed the Arabian Sea and Persian Gulf, spending our days watching the ocean, staying in a small cabin, reading, doing laundry, and eating meals prepared by the crew. After reaching Abu Dhabi, we remained on the ship in quarantine until our coronavirus tests came back negative and we received permission to enter the UAE after 14 days.
