144 Hours Living In A Canoe (6 days off the grid in the Boundary Waters)

We drove to the Boundary Waters in Minnesota and began a six-day canoe trip with everything we needed packed on our backs. We paddled across several lakes, carried our canoes and gear over portages, swam in a waterfall, caught fish, set up camp, and cooked dinner. We also encountered a black bear and battled an intense mosquito infestation before starting the next morning’s more than two-mile portage.
