1950s Train Cemetery | Uyuni, Bolivia

We flew to Uyuni to begin our salt flats adventure and saw the mirror effect from the rainy season. We explored the abandoned steam trains at the train cemetery, including the trains associated with Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. We then visited Colchani to learn how salt is processed, see salt-brick buildings, browse alpaca souvenirs, and prepare to enter the wet salt flats.
