24 Hours as Tourist in Yemen (Extreme Travel)

We travel through southern Yemen, visiting a canyon resort, historic mud-brick palaces and villages, including the area where Osama bin Laden’s family came from. We meet local people, eat camel meat, explore a qat market and learn about the country’s war, poverty, inflation and humanitarian crisis. We also see Shibam, known as the Manhattan of Yemen, and experience military checkpoints while witnessing the warmth and hospitality of the people.
