24 Hours Inside Ghana's Capital City (crazy African megacity)

We explored Accra’s coastline, fishing communities, markets, workshops, bars, and neighborhoods, meeting people who described the challenges of unemployment, poverty, inflation, and limited opportunities. We visited areas where people recycle scrap and electronic waste, make cooking pots, brew local alcohol, sell herbal medicine, and work in small businesses. We also witnessed a tense confrontation involving a knife and discussed how the war in Ukraine, government policies, and the closure of the former e-waste dump have affected local livelihoods.
