24 Hours On The World’s Most Expensive Train (Venice Simplon Orient Express Grand Suite)

We boarded the Orient Express for a 24-hour journey from Budapest to Paris in the luxurious Vienna Grand Suite, enjoying caviar, champagne, lavish meals, and a private shower. We toured the suite and all 14 carriages, got off briefly in Vienna, and admired the Austrian countryside along the way. After formal dinner and live music in the lounge car, we slept for a few hours, had breakfast in our room, and arrived in Paris, where we also toured a less expensive double cabin.
