24 Hours to Climb Mexico's Tallest Mountain

We set out to climb Pico de Orizaba with our guide Juan, traveling to the remote base camp and acclimatizing to the high altitude. We climb through the rocky labyrinth and up a steep glacier in the dark, using crampons and a safety rope to cross crevasses. After six hours, we reach the summit, where the achievement helps restore our confidence after a previous failed endurance challenge.
