3 Days of the Worst Hike Ever (But I Did it for a Reason)

We spent three days hiking about 40 miles along the cold, wet and windy Baltic coast with Vilk, camping outdoors and dealing with high tides, flooded paths and soaked gear. We began the trip as a tribute to a beloved grandfather and as a way to clear our minds, but also had to cope with a broken camera and miserable weather. We finished the hike and learned that facing our demons does not always mean enjoying the experience, but can simply mean persevering through something uncomfortable.
