3 Reasons I Won't Go Back to North Korea

We recount our four-day visit to Pyongyang in 2017 and explain why we will never return to North Korea. We discuss the controlled environment, our fears of persecution, our detention near the North Korean border in Russia, and our opposition to the regime. We also explain how the American travel ban and the restrictions placed on local people made returning impossible and conflicted with our goal of telling human stories.
