7 Days Captaining our own Yacht (with no experience!)

We spend a week captaining a half-million-dollar catamaran around Australia's Whitsunday Islands despite having no previous experience in charge of a boat. After lessons and practice, we navigate open water, rough waves, high winds, anchoring, and various problems on board while picking up friends along the way. We anchor near Sid Harbor, avoid the water because of shark warnings, and hike toward the highest point in the Whitsundays while watching out for snakes.
