We took a boat tour from Guerrero Negro to see and interact with migrating gray whales, then continued driving south through Baja, filling our water tank, picking up a hitchhiker, and passing military checkpoints. We visited Mulegé before heading to Santispac in the Bay of Conception, where we camped on a beautiful beach, bought food and souvenirs from local vendors, and enjoyed the calm water. We celebrated Nate’s 33rd birthday with a homemade breakfast and another scenic beach campsite.
