8 Days Alone in World’s Most Dangerous Country (Yemen)

We cross into Yemen and embark on an eight-day road trip through Hadramaut, visiting Al Khayda, Sayoun, Wadi Dohan, Shibam and Mukalla while passing checkpoints and areas affected by conflict. We experience Yemeni food and hospitality, explore local markets, try qat, chai and traditional dishes, and attend a wedding celebration. We also see the country's poverty, humanitarian crisis and fuel shortages while meeting people who share their culture and daily lives with us.
