8 Days in Africa's Emptiest Country

We take a road trip through Namibia with our friend Charlie, driving from Windhoek toward the desert and camping under the stars in rooftop tents. We visit Solitaire, explore the Mars-like landscapes and ancient dead trees of Deadvlei, and climb the dunes at Sossusvlei. After nearly getting stuck inside the park past closing time, we continue to a unique luxury stargazing lodge in the NamibRand Nature Reserve.
