82 Hours on Australia's Longest Overnight Train

We traveled for 82 hours from Perth to Sydney on the Indian Pacific, Australia’s longest train journey, while touring our cabin, trying the included meals, and learning about the railway’s history. We stopped in Cook, a tiny desert settlement, and Adelaide, where we explored the city, met fellow travelers, and organized group runs. Back on board, we experienced the wet-bath shower, enjoyed more meals and entertainment, and watched the changing Outback landscapes from the train.
