96 Hours in the World’s Coldest City (-64°C,-84 °F)

We travel to Yakutsk, the coldest city on Earth, where we explore the fish and meat market, visit the Permafrost Museum, and learn how people live with temperatures far below freezing. We drive onto a frozen lake and take part in an extreme ice plunge with a local man who has swum there daily for 30 years. We also visit the countryside, meet a local family, learn about their traditions and ways of surviving the climate, and try frozen fish and raw horse meat.
