96 Hours Inside Afghanistan in 2020

We traveled to Afghanistan for 96 hours, beginning in Herat, where we explored the city, its historic citadel, mosques, markets, shrines, and monuments. We met welcoming local people, joined a cricket game, shared meals and tea, tried pomegranate juice, and experienced Afghan hospitality while learning about the country’s history and ongoing conflict. We also heard Noor’s personal story and learned about his dream of creating a school for children living on the streets.
