A Day in the Life of the World's Shortest Man

We traveled across Iranian Kurdistan to Bukan and then to Afshin’s village, where we met him and his welcoming family. We explored his home and neighborhood, learned about his childhood, education, Kurdish identity, and hopes of becoming a football player or actor, and spent time with local residents. We also visited Bukan for a haircut, shopping, a kebab meal, traditional clothing measurements, and an evening prayer before returning home.
