A Journey to the Land of Ice and Fire - The Country of the Descendants of the Vikings! Iceland

We explored Reykjavík and learned how Iceland developed from an isolated fishing island into a wealthy, modern country powered largely by clean geothermal energy. We traveled through the south, visiting waterfalls, black-sand beaches, Diamond Beach, hot springs, volcanic landscapes, and a Viking village. We also saw an active volcanic area and relaxed at the Blue Lagoon near the airport.
