A Traveller Walks Around Kathmandu, Nepal

We walk through the chaotic streets of Kathmandu to Swayambhunath, taking a cheap, crowded bus for part of the journey and observing the traffic, local greetings, and public transport. We explore the Monkey Temple, climb its steps among the monkeys, admire the stupa and sweeping city views, and learn about its history and customs. Afterward, we eat chicken cashew nut curry at a café with views of Kathmandu and make our way back to the city centre.
