We went on a morning safari in the Maasai Mara, where we saw hyenas, wildebeest, a leopard, and Cape buffalo, completing four of the Big Five. After a demonstration caused traffic delays in Nairobi, we changed our plans and drove for several hours over bumpy roads to Kisumu instead of flying.
