Almost Disastrous Hike In The Dolomites (can’t believe this is Italy)

We drove from Venice to the Dolomites, stopped for lunch, and hiked through beautiful mountain landscapes to a stunning blue lake. We had very little water and had to scramble down a steep, sketchy section of trail before heading back toward the car. After realizing we had left a camera lens near the lake, we hiked back up to retrieve it, then had dinner and drove back to Venice.
