America's Most Bizarre Town (Arcosanti, Arizona)

We drove from Phoenix to Arcosanti, an experimental community in the Arizona desert, and explored its distinctive architecture and sustainable approach to urban living. We spoke with several residents about daily life, community responsibilities, and the ideas behind the town, which was founded by Paolo Soleri. We also learned how Arcosanti supports itself by making and selling handmade bells before heading out.
