Arriving At Base Camp! Everest Base Camp Trek Day 8

We walked across the Khumbu Glacier and reached Everest Base Camp, taking in the glaciers, icefall, and views of Nuptse and the cloudy Everest. We explored the area, enjoyed some drinks at base camp, and then returned to the lodge in the freezing evening. We planned to climb Kala Patthar early the next morning for sunrise, depending on the weather.
