We arrive in Varanasi and bargain with taxi drivers and touts while making our way through the crowded streets toward the Ganges. We explore the markets, alleyways, food stalls, guest houses, and local sights before finding a reasonably priced hotel. We then visit the Ganges ghats, where we observe preparations for the evening puja ceremony and encounter people asking for donations.
