Azerbaijan Is Different

We explore Baku, Azerbaijan, starting with its modern city center before taking an inexpensive Uber to the Old City, which dates back to at least the 12th century. We walk through its cobbled streets, visit the waterfront, and admire the contrast between the historic buildings, modern skyline, and spacious infrastructure. We share our positive first impressions of Baku and prepare to continue into the Azerbaijani countryside and mountains.
