We visited Kutupalong refugee camp near Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, the world’s largest refugee camp, where around 800,000 Rohingya refugees live in makeshift shelters. We explored the vast sub-camps, saw families living in bamboo and tarpaulin homes, and observed children carrying aid and workers building new structures. We learned about the difficult conditions, including the risks of flooding, landslides, and disease during the monsoon season, as well as the humanitarian services supporting the refugees.
