Bangladesh Train Travel Is Crazy

We navigate the chaotic traffic and crowded railway station in Dhaka before boarding a surprisingly comfortable six-hour train to Chittagong, contrasting our air-conditioned cabin with the many passengers riding on the roof. Along the journey, we enjoy the views, eat chicken and drink coffee while seeing slums, fertile farmland and flood-prone areas. After arriving, we travel by rickshaw to a friend’s house, share a large seafood meal, and experience some local Bengali customs.
