We visited a shelter in Tanzania run by Sister Martha, where about 50 children and young people with albinism receive housing, education, care, and protection after facing abandonment, discrimination, and threats. We listened to their stories, learned about the dangers and health challenges they face, and spent time with them at the shelter and in the city. We also explored the community, visited a market and restaurant, and saw the warmth and hope that exist despite the ongoing violence and stigma.
