Burmese Bbq & Golden Buddhas | Mandalay, Myanmar

We said goodbye to our boat and explored Mandalay, visiting a pagoda believed to house the only Buddha image created during his lifetime. We watched artisans painstakingly pound gold into thin sheets and visited the world’s largest book, made up of 729 marble slabs. We ended our Myanmar trip with a Burmese barbecue of grilled meat and vegetables, which cost just $9.
