Camping Above Bhutan's Most Famous Monastery (alone at Tiger's Nest)

We hiked up through the Himalayan mountains on the Bumdra Trek and camped above Bhutan’s Tiger’s Nest Monastery. After a cold night in the mountains, we woke before sunrise and hiked down to visit the monastery before the crowds arrived. Although Tiger’s Nest was incredible, we felt that watching the sunset alone among the prayer flags at camp was the most memorable part of the trip.
