Camping Alone in the Woods with my Dog (Solo Female)

We hike into the snowy mountains with our dog, hoping to reach a pioneer cabin, but turn back when the trail becomes too deep and difficult and storm clouds approach. We set up camp lower down, spend a rainy night in the tent, and reflect on the simple pleasures and challenges of camping together. In the morning, we wake to the sunrise and head back after an uneventful but memorable overnight adventure.
