We meet three women in Libreville, Gabon, and learn that they speak Cameroonian Pidgin English, which we find difficult to understand. We learn common expressions such as “enter” for “come inside” and “chop” for “eat,” then listen to the women converse and try to understand what they are saying. We also discuss their animated way of speaking and attempt to translate their conversation.
