We arrive in Tokyo at five in the morning and discover how difficult it is to find an affordable place to sleep, especially on the weekend. We explore a café where people can sleep in capsules, use computers and free drinks, and stay for a few hours or overnight. We then review a private capsule with a television, adjustable lighting and air conditioning, an electrical outlet, manga, a radio, ice cream, and free breakfast, while reflecting on our difficult arrival in Tokyo.
