We leave Lima and fly to Cusco, arriving at over 3,000 meters above sea level and taking time to acclimatize. We explore the beautiful mountain city, walk through its streets, and tour two surprisingly affordable Airbnb accommodations. After shopping for supplies and recovering from the altitude, we settle in and prepare for mountain adventures.
