Crazy 23 Hour Train Trip in Iran (1000 Mile Journey)

We traveled by first-class sleeper train for 22 hours and 1,500 kilometers from Tehran to Bandar Abbas, stopping for prayer and enjoying the comfortable cabins, desert landscapes, and Persian hospitality. We explored Tehran Railway Station, exchanged cash, and ate a falafel sandwich before boarding. After arriving in the hot coastal city of Bandar Abbas, we checked into a hotel overlooking the Persian Gulf and reflected on the cost and experience of the journey.
