Crossing the Us-Mexico Border Alone

We leave the United States after six months and cross into Mexico with our foreign car and dog, navigating the border and arriving in Tijuana. We stay at a mechanic’s workshop, work on Odyssey’s maintenance and electrical problems, and meet friends who are also beginning their travels in Mexico. Afterward, we spend two weeks resting by the beach and recovering from the intense pace of the journey.
