We spent our last day wandering around Havana and shared the things that surprised us most about Cuba, including cigar culture, old cars, food, currencies, salaries, internet access, and safety. We learned that locals often wait in lines, rely on limited Wi-Fi, and may earn more in tourism than in highly skilled professions. We also reflected on how being mostly offline led to different conversations and a more immersive travel experience.
