Cute Kids And Llamas Galore! Sacred Valley Hike

We began day three of our trek to Machu Picchu with hot chocolate, then visited a local village where children greeted us before we started an eight-hour hike. We climbed through green valleys filled with llamas and alpacas, crossed a creek, and continued through fog and rain to the summit. After enjoying a feast in a tent by the lake, we hiked down to the van and traveled to our new lodge.
