Day 1: Arriving in Cuba in 2025 (Failed State)

We explored Havana, visiting severely deteriorating buildings and speaking with residents about shortages of food, medicine, water, electricity, gas, and affordable housing. We also met local business owners and learned how low wages and the lack of foreign currency affect daily life. We visited the Capitol area, Miramar, and other parts of the city, seeing the contrast between Havana's historic center, its wealthier neighborhoods, and the widespread garbage and fuel problems.
