Day 1 | Everest Base Camp Trek | Terrifying Lukla Flight

We flew from Kathmandu to Lukla after delays caused by high winds, then began our trek toward Everest Base Camp with our guide and porters. We hiked for nearly three hours to Phakding, crossing bridges, seeing yaks, prayer wheels, porters, mani stones, and stupas along the way. We settled into our first tea house and had dinner before preparing for the next day.
