Day 1: Inside Somalia (not what I expected)

We flew from Dubai to Hargeisa, the capital of Somaliland, and explored the streets while learning about Somaliland’s history and its relationship with Somalia. We met Khalid, walked through the souk, tried spicy Somali tea, saw camel meat being sold, and visited a local football pitch. We also discussed plans to explore more of Somaliland, including its countryside, coast, mountains, camel market, and public transport.
