Day 10 | Everest Base Camp Trek | Cho La Pass

We set out before dawn from Dzongla to cross Cho La Pass, climbing through snow and a glacier to about 5,600 meters. Clouds, flurries, and steep terrain made the descent challenging as we slid down into the fog, with some of us feeling nauseous. After several hours of hiking, we reached Tashi for lunch and rested at the tea house.
