Day 11 | Everest Base Camp Trek | Thangnak - Gokyo

We hike from Thangnak to Gokyo across the moraine and dirty ice of one of the world's largest glaciers, narrowly avoiding a rockslide along the way. After reaching Gokyo, we rest at our tea house and explain how tea houses, Wi-Fi, and charging work in the Himalayan villages. We spend the afternoon at a bakery with our trekking friends instead of climbing the cloudy Gokyo Ridge.
