Day 3 | Everest Base Camp Trek

We spent the third day of our Everest Base Camp trek on a day hike from Namche Bazaar to the Everest View Hotel, where we saw Mount Everest, met Tenzing Norgay’s son, and enjoyed masala tea with spectacular mountain views. After hiking back to Namche, we had pizza and relaxed at a bakery before shopping, looking for money for the rest of the trek, and finding warmer hiking pants. We also planned to watch a documentary about the first Everest ascent.
