Day 6 | Everest Base Camp Trek

We trek from Pengbuche to Dingbuche on day six of our journey to Everest Base Camp, climbing above the tree line and reaching our tea house before lunchtime. We learn about the demanding work of carrying supplies when we try to carry our porter's bags, then rest and eat fried momos and vegetables. In the afternoon, we sample local Tibetan tea and berry juice while the clouds clear to reveal the surrounding mountains.
