Day 9 | Everest Base Camp Trek | Kala Pattar

We climbed from Gorakshep to Kala Patthar before dawn to watch the sunrise over Mount Everest and look down toward Everest Base Camp. After reaching the summit in difficult conditions, we descended for breakfast and continued toward Dzongla through snowy mountain valleys. We stopped for lunch and tea before finishing the day at a tea house heated with yak dung.
