Day Trip to Nicosia, North Cyprus!

We drove to Nicosia for a day trip and visited the Selimiye Mosque, which was converted from a church in 1570. We explored the closed covered market area, tried some local yogurt and kebab, and visited the Great Inn, a restored former travelers’ stop. We ended the day with ice cream before returning to Kyrenia to watch the sunset from our hotel’s rooftop terrace.
